Rose Hayes is the Director of Special Projects at Edward Street. Rose started her 12 year career in the early childhood field as a teacher in several Framingham preschool programs and moved into the role of Child Care Director at the YMCA of Greater Worcester. She then transitioned into the corporate world where she worked as a human resource professional for 12 years working at Paul Revere Insurance, Primedica Corporation, and the City of Worcester. In 2004, she started Dellwood Consulting providing executive coaching, leadership training and general human resource support services across the state. Since 1991, she has also been an adjunct faculty member of several local colleges including Clark University, Nichols College and Becker College where she continues to teach today. In 2011, Rose joined the Edward Street team part-time bringing her career full circle! Rose coordinates the annual Day of Play Family Festival and other projects with a focus on the importance of family interaction in preparing young children for kindergarten. She is a Worcester resident and has a Master’s degree in Education.
