At the request of physicians, the agency moved from its original
location to 10 Edward Street to care for children whose
mothers were patients at Memorial Hospital for maternity and
other services.

After 120 years of providing direct early education services, the
Board of Directors voted to close the center and sell its assets.
We remain focused on our original goals of improving the
quality of early education, providing information and resources
to parents, and helping industry and the community to
understand the value of good early education in the community.
